Pro Series Magnum 272R Transmission:
The Magnum 272R uses a new low-profile housing with a solid 3.2 mm aluminum engine plate. A hardened steel top axle and all-metal gears send the power to a sealed, silicone-filled differential with 4 gears for maximum traction. A removable panel gives you easy access to the differential for tuning with liquids with different viscosity. The brushless Velineon motor and electronic speed control (ESC) provide the pinnacle in terms of efficiency, speed and runtime. With the Bandit VXL, your battery selection determines your speed and skill level. Velineon accepts a wide range of batteries, including powerful 3-cell LiPo packs. These packs pumps more than 11 volts of power for intense, skill level 5 speeds of more than 70 mph / 115km/h! Built-in low-voltage detection in the VXL-3s ESC helps you keep your LiPo packs in top condition.
Traxxas Stability Management
Micro-receiver, TQi 2.4 GHz with Traxxas Link and TSM (5-channel) (6533) (rougher-quarter view) Traxxas Stability Management (TSM) works behind the scenes to prevent spin-outs and loss of control on smooth surfaces. TSM detects the direction of the vehicle and makes steering corrections to give full-bit without fishtailing or spin-outs.
