BELTED BANDEN
Maxx SC tires with reinforcement reduce the expansion of the tire at high speed for a larger, flatter contact area and groundbreaking precision and control. The uniformity of the tyres is crucial for stability, especially at the top of the speed range of more than 110 km/h.

Maxx SC belted tires enhance the short-distance experience with incredible traction and stability above 120 km/h. An all-metal powertrain and steel-core hybrid drivetrain gives Maxx Slash all the Traxxas-Tough durability that made Slash famous.
TYRES AND WHEELS
Maxx Slash rides on short race wheels with double diameter and a large adhesive surface for safe heel mounting. The wheels are completely sealed to keep dirt and water out that can disturb the balance of the tire and affect the foam inserts. A 17 mm wheel hub ensures maximum power transfer with a flanged outer lock nut for a more realistic appearance.
Fixed mesh engine mount
The motor and the engine mount together form a fixed gearbox. A heavy-tightened mounting plate in the chassis keeps the engine and the gear wheel perfectly aligned. This innovative solution eliminates flex and significantly extends the life of the gears.
Chassis with low centre of gravity
The new chassis reduces the centre of gravity and extends the wheelbase for responsive handling. The aesthetic of a fighter jet envelops a technical truss design that builds strength and rigidity where it is most needed. Proven robust Maxx bulkheads are tightly integrated front and rear.
Battery compartment
Maxx Slash uses the Sledge battery compartment and design to provide versatility and superior protection for your battery investment. The precise snap closure makes it easy to install and secure Traxxas iD batteries, including a single 4s 6700 large capacity, two 2s 7600 or two 3s 5000 battery packs for 6s operation.
Waterproof electronics
MaxxSlash is not limited by mud, snow or water and so does your enjoyment. A sealed box protects the TQi receiver from water, allowing you to drive in any weather. An easily accessible gate at the top provides direct access to the receiver while maintaining the watertight integrity of the box.
Maxx steering servo steering
The powerful handlebar servo is firmly mounted to the Maxx Slash chassis for improved support and impact durability. With its proven durability in MAXX sample trucks, the digital ball bearing design delivers 285 oz in torque for responsive and precise steering control.
Solid camber and toe links
Fixed, non-discoverable camber and toe links ensure ultimate durability by ensuring that the action is not sidelined by a broken vise. Double shear connections, where the links are also stuck, tricky pop-offs and tear-out.
Suspension with long travel
Maxx Slash flew over the washboard and absorbed bumps like a Baja truck thanks to the long springway. Adjustable suspension allows you to adjust Maxx Slash to dominate any surface. Use the entire travel for maximum capacity on rough terrain or reduce the travel for responsive handling and grip on the track.
Heavy control arms
The extra-large support arms with double support arms from Maxx Slash keep the right suspension geometry over the entire range. Double shear connections offer incredible strength and impact resistance. Strong composites can also withstand impact damage, even in cold weather.
GT-Maxx Aluminum Shock Absorbers
Shock absorbers have an extra large bore and more oil capacity for consistent, ultra-soft damping. Shock absorber shafts with extra large diameter moving door double X-ring seals for smooth, sticing-free performance. The brilliant anodized, machined aluminum enclosures are colour-approved to the body images.
Full contact sealed bearings
Maxx Slash uses fully contact sealed bearings throughout the powertrain to keep dirt and grit out. Less downtime for cleaning and maintaining bearings equals more rounded and more fun.
Torque pre-tensioning central drive
Maxx Slash’s Torque-Biasing Center Drive is tuned for maximum force off-end, with heavy oil for a one-time power distribution at the front and rear. A robust aluminum housing helps to carry out the heat for consistent performance, while Maxx Slash delivers an unmatched accelerator and a huge fast acceleration!
Drive shaft with aluminium spink
A thick-walled, robust aluminium drive shaft with key paths brings the power to the front and rear differentials. This powerful drive shaft ensures precise gripping, incredible power and smooth operation.
Hybrid drive shafts with steel core
Maxx Slash has been overbuilt according to the most brutal 6s penalty to be tolerated. New hybrid drive shafts are equipped with steel cores.
