540XL QUAL
For those who believe that "there is no substitute for displacement", Traxxas has built a monster truck for you. The new Stampede 4X4 VXL has the same Velineon 540XL brushless motor as the Maxx monster truck. It is the biggest engine we have ever mounted in a truck of this size. The Velineon VXL-3s speed control smoothly controls with the help of large 6.5 mm connectors and an integrated cooling fan for fast, reliable fun.
EXTREME SLEDGEHAMMER GRIP
The 1:10 Stampede VXL 4X4 scale relies on huge Sledgehammer tires to put its huge torque on the ground. The 5.3-inch h
high tires ensure superior ground clearance and an imminent attitude. The open-block tread design removes mud and dirt for unrivalled traction on loose surfaces. Sledgehammer tires are pre-glued with high-quality foam inserts and they have a TSM rating for speeds of 100 km/h and higher!
The DRINCE
A conventional four-wheel drive system may work for your average RC truck, but average it is not in Traxxas vocabulary. We have examined every inch of the Stampede’s powertrain and strengthened critical areas to handle the immense power of the 540XL. A Torque-Biasing Center Drive, equipped with a steel gear, replaces a traditional slip clutch along with a strong aluminum drive shaft and reinforced axles for extremely heavy use. The resulting Hoss powertrain is a paragon of efficiency and brute force.

CLIPLESS BODY
The robust and innovative click system of the Hoss 4X4 VXL ensures secure mounting and easy one-handed removal. The battery changes are fast and there are no body clips to keep track of. The internal body cage with integrated roof support and tailgate protector reinforce the body for an extra long service life.

A sturdy internal cage construction supports the body and external reinforcements enhance the aggressive look. Roof and tail flaps protect against cutting through cutting, while reinforcements at the supports prevent cracking.

WHEELIE BAR
A wheelie bar is a mandatory equipment to handle the torque on the wheel of the Stampede. Ride practically endless wheelies on the pavement and keep the action of the wheels under control in hard accelerations. The integrated wheelie bar has the perfect amount of flex to absorb shocks on less than perfect landings. It also has a handy handle to transport your Stampede to the next adventure.
TQi RADIO SYSTEM
The fully equipped Traxxas TQi 2.4GHz radio system delivers superior speed, precision and control. It’s Traxxas Link prepared, so you can add the Traxxas Link wireless module (part 6511, sold separately) and wirelessly connect to the Traxxas Link app with your smartphone. The Traxxas Link app lets you adjust your settings and view real-time telemetry with optional accessories.
The CENTER ATTERNATION
The Torque-Biasing Center Drive absorbs shocks to improve powertrain durability. The middle drive also distributes power over all four wheels for stunning all-wheel drive acceleration without the side effects of a typical mid-differential.

Verify that LiPo mode on your model is activated: RED Led, NiMh mode, and a GREEN LED, LiPo mode. Switch between NiMh/LiPo mode is easy by turning on the model and holding the EZ-Set button for more than 10 seconds.
